wow. i haven't written in this in forever.
i'm tired. but want to post pictures for photography class.
our first assignment we had to use a medium format camera.
NEVVVVER used one before, so that was fun.
we had to make a haiku with 3 images and relate them somehow.
mine are all parts of gates. but i also realized they're vertical, horizontal, and diagonal.
AND my teacher used my first picture up on our blackboard site.
she said that was equivalent to a gold star.

soooo...
megan is engaged.
bj proposed to her this past wednesday.
i'm happy for them. and excited about the wedding.
it's crazy. paige just got married this past april and now megan is sometime next year.
everyone keeps asking when it's my turn.
hahahaha. good one.
not anytime soon. first i need a boy.
and to finish school and all that good stuff.
as scary as it is, i keep thinking that i can't wait to actually grow up.
life after college. get a real job. be dependant.
it's sososososooooo scary. yet so exciting at the same time.
i just want to have fun the rest of this year and next.
pretty soon things will be different.
i've learned a lot this past year.
especially with boys. i've been through a lot.
i just want things to change with that.
i want a boy that likes me for who i am.
one that won't screw me over like all the rest i've dealt with.
i know he's out there somewhere.
it'll just take some time to find him.

i've come to realize that i'm getting old.
time has flown by so fast.
i'm a senior in college.
well have another year i think since i changed majors.
but it's so weird to think i'm almost done.
so much has happened these past 4 years.
and i loved every single bit of it.
there's so much i miss though.
and it sucks because i think about it all the time.
i've made so many friends and even lost some.
but have grown to realize who my true friends are.
i miss one person a lot.
but i'm so glad to have them as a friend.
i've found my true best friend and glad to have her.
she is someone i can always depend on.
as for boys.
i don't think i'll ever learn.
they always turn out the same.
but i know that the right guy is out there for me.
and one day i will find him.
or perhaps i already have and just don't know yet.

actually i think i'm just really delirious.
so. here are my "portraits" i printed out.
i'm pleased with the outcome.
this is megs. i had to take a portrait of someone that shows their personality 100%. megan's a teacher. who's young. so that's why i did this shot. it shows her in non-teacher clothes sitting at her desk not really doing anything teacherish. haha i don't know.
bj. i had to do a portrait using a single light source. i was really pleased with how these came out. this was my favorite out of all of them though. hooooo-rah.
and my self-portrait. we had to describe who we are as a person in the picture. so i did this to represent that even though i appear quiet and kinda shy when you first meet me, i can be loud and talkative once i get to know someone and open up.
hooray. i like photography. and black&white. and the darkroom.
ANYways. so fall break hasn't been tooooo terrible.
tomorrow=copeland! and baumer! i'm excited.
i need to study for my test on monday though.
and then i go to the dentist on wed.
and it's mallory's b-day that day. she's finally 21.
and then this next weekend is going to be AWESOME because it's the weekend before halloweenie.
and i saw jed last night which was nice b/c i haven't in forever.
and we went and watched tctd practice.
and kelly and shelley and i peed behind a shed.
and hung out.
and then went to chris'. and then gareth's.
and it was loads of fun.
and chris [ex boyfriend] randomly texted me tonight after we got in a fight a few weeks ago and i haven't talked to him since.
it was very random. but he apologized. and was more than likely drunk.
